FREE THINGS TO DO IN OTTAWA ON CANADA DAY

Vacation does not have to be costly. Here are some activities in Canada’s Nation’s Capital that are free on 150th birthday of Canada’s Confederation!!

Most museums are free but you have to pay for their special exhibits.

National Arts Centre

National Arts Centre’s Grand Opening. NAC received a major renovation and this weekend, they are ready for the world to see. Experience the best in music, theatre and dance!

Free concerts, BBQ, Canada Day with the NAC Orchestra (free shows at 4pm and 8pm), NAC Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting at 2pm

National Gallery of Canada

FREE admission on Canada Day. Saturday, July 1, 2017

9:30 am to 4:00 pm

Celebrate Canada Day with free admission to the Gallery. Discover the Canadian and Indigenous art on view in Our Masterpieces, Our Stories, come by the Our Stories creative hub and enjoy other fun activities throughout the day.
