It was a Meeting of the Minds in the literal sense as Tinig Pinoy hosted the meeting of Professors Malou Ubina and Mike Mopas. Malou Ubina is an associate professor in the Institute of Teaching and Learning department at Philippine Normal University. She is currently doing her PhD dissertation at Ottawa University while Mike Mopas is associate professor in the department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University.
Mike and Malou exchanged ideas about her PhD dissertation which is about technology integration. Mike will be our guest at our CKCU Tinig Pinoy Program on Tuesday, March 27 from 6 PM to 7 PM. He will be talking about his journey of becoming a professor and some of his research studies as a sociologist.
The meeting took place at Tamis Café located in Canada’s capital famous Glebe area. We enjoyed the food and the discussion.
Regina Sosing and Eddie Villarta were present during the meeting and enjoyed the company of our awesome Pinoy professors.
