Who are the Magnificent Ladies?!!
: Ami Armit is a happily retired senior executive from the Canadian Public Service. She was the former President and CEO of the Parliamentary Centre where she was involved in many international development projects around the world. She met many kababayans in these encounters and shared their longings for family and home . Ami continues to be active in the community, sharing her experiences and expertise through her volunteer work with the the Ottawa Public Library and Junior Achievement.
: Nena Nera
First and foremost, Nena is a wife, mother and grandmother.
Married to Dr.Eduardo A. Nera, a retired physician with a specialty in Pathology.
Has 3 sons and 1 daughter – all married.
Has 8 grandchildren – 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters
Has a Masters in Social Work and Psychology from the University of the Philippines and the University of Wisconsin.
Nena is President of her own Company -The ‘N’ Company which provides mentoring and coaching services in public speaking, life-styles .
Also the Past President and one of the founders of The Wellness Leadership Group which conducts presentation in Wellness and Well-Being.
Nena is a Transformational Coach and a Mentor, a professional speaker and a community leader. Has received various community leadership and public speaking awards(locally and internationally). She is a listed member of Standford’s “Who’s Who” and is a well -known Distinguished Toastmaster.

Is Director in Health Canada. She is a scholar and Certified Accountant!!
